Welcome to summer, everyone!
a whirlwind year in 2016, we’ve continued our hectic pace and added a
personal joy. My long-time partner, Paula Rosenberg, is now my wife as
well as dear friend. All that started with our engagement last year next
to Monet’s waterlily pond in Giverny, outside of Paris. We are now
happily married and in the process of a “wedding tour” to bring our joy
to friends and relatives. We've been too busy to write!
And that whirlwind I
mentioned in 2016? It was an incredibly full year of artwork. In
addition to the Travers/Saratoga poster, we created a poster to
commemorate Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs; began a series of polo
posters for the National Sporting Library & Museum (NSLM) in
Middleburg, VA; had an exhibit of my work titled “To the Finish: The
Art & Process of Greg Montgomery” at the NSLM; commissioned jockey
portraits for the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga
Springs, NY; and more.
Today, however, I’m
announcing this year’s Travers/Saratoga poster — Record Breaker! —
commemorating the amazing Arrogate, winner of the 2016 Travers. The
posters have been distributed to our vendors in Saratoga and we are in
the process of scheduling signings for the summer season.
Please keep your eye on this space for updates and artwork. Hope to see you at the ballet, opera, symphony, or at the Track!
All the best,
Greg and Paula
